Unbelievable. 1500 hours of work translates to just under 4 minutes of 8-bit stop motion lego bliss.
This is great. Found while perusing Monkey Fires Shot, one of Tiny Sauce LLC’s latest ventures (these are the guys behind 200nipples).
Sidenote: tonight’s 200nipples shirt looks magical:
And, as an added autumn bonus, it comes with not one, but two sleeves! This is shaping up to be another late night for me.
Today I went on an internet journey. It began in NewsFire with kottke.org’s feed. A link there prompted me to rediscover a video from a few months back of people getting punched in the face at 1000 fps. It was then that I realized the song playing in the background was intensely catchy. So I sought it out. I’d been meaning to try Shazam and Midomi on the iPhone, so I did. Neither managed to track down the song’s origins.
Shazam offered absolutely no suggestions, whereas Midomis’ were hilariously unrelated. Distraught, I defaulted to typing the lyrics into google. Shazam… It turns out the song in question is a remix of Sweaty, originally by the group Muscles but covered by… Shazam. Wordly irony. Anyways, I was curious as to what a youtube search would bring up. I found… this. I am forever indebted to you, oh benevolent internet, for bestowing upon us, in your infinite wisdom, Nick Junior music video mash-ups.
