Twitter begins rolling out official group (list) support»

This is a big deal. I know support for grouping functionality has been much contested across desktop and iPhone Twitter applications. Making it a native API feature is going to change things. Looks like Mr. Brichter has his work cut out for him.

The feature appears to have a custom-tailored interface to boot. Twitter is discernibly driving forward with updates abound. I’m excited.

They’re switching over to NewTwitter™. You heard it here first.
I think Jacob’s statement might have some truth to it. I also noticed twitter just switched their URL scheme up a bit. Eg: instead of being directed to twitter.com/home upon logging in, I’m taken to: twitter.com/timeline/home.
Maybe a sign of new features to come? They did promise the introduction of an actual monetization scheme some time this year.

Twitter as a collaborative narration tool»

Welcome to part one of a two part series, wherein I explain the rationale behind my using conventional web services to unconventional ends. Enter Great Expectations: A Tale of Two Twitters, a heap of textual nonsense coauthored by myself and Hao Lian.

I don’t tweet much. Most tweets are insignificant blips: mundane tasks logged for the enjoyment of whom? I have no idea. Composing intriguing, endearing tales of mermaids and pants bulges suits me better.

Try it.
