Twitter begins rolling out official group (list) support»

This is a big deal. I know support for grouping functionality has been much contested across desktop and iPhone Twitter applications. Making it a native API feature is going to change things. Looks like Mr. Brichter has his work cut out for him.

The feature appears to have a custom-tailored interface to boot. Twitter is discernibly driving forward with updates abound. I’m excited.

I’ve been making a few tweaks to this blog recently, namely: infinite scrolling and keyboard navigation (try pressing j and k). Hopefully I’ll be able to get around to incorporating some of them into compatriot in the near future.

Edit: Turns out the featured section is apparently now just a random list of 8 themes. I do not regret making this post.

Best new Snow Leopard feature. Nothing compares. (I’m honestly not sure if this already existed in Leopard’s Address Book. But it’s news to me. And it’s hilarious.)

In all seriousness, this is a handy-looking webapp I just found from a quick google search. See, today Canon announced what I believe to be the ultimate compromise between a crappy point-and-shoot and a prosumer-grade camera. It’s called the Powershot S90, and I’d absolutely love one. But alas, I am unwilling to pay more than $250. Why the arbitrary number? Good question. Anyway, now I’ll automatically be notified via RSS whenever its price drops on Amazon. The internet is swell.

To the elephantine minded readers back at home: yes, I did purchase a point-and-shoot last summer. Unfortunately it was stolen back in January. Tough luck.
